The rooms were spacious and had a fantastic shower. Breakfast service struggled to keep items stocked. Loved the free shuttle service and nearby bicycle rental for exploring. A bit far from the main attractions.

spacious rooms, ample bathroom amenities, nearby Kyoto Imperial gardens
The hotel could enhance its check-in process by being less invasive with personal information!!! Also, the laundry service needs a serious overhaul. simply handing out a paper without assistance isn’t acceptable!!!

Had an awesome time with my friends! We explored a nearby shrine and the serene imperial gardens. The rooms were comfy and well-equipped. The bathroom had a fantastic shower. Just keep in mind, it's a bit far from the train station, but the hotel offers a shuttle. Definitely recommend trying the local places for delicious food!
The breakfast situation was a bit off. They didn't restock items quickly, and good luck with finding soya milk if you're lactose intolerant.

A cozy stay with surprising space
My wife and I loved this hotel’s spacious superior double room. The quiet location felt soothing, and the attentive staff really brightened our mornings.
However, we were disappointed that the restaurant reused breakfast items from the previous day. A bit more variety would have been ideal.

Our stay was fantastic, especially enjoying the spacious room with a luxurious bathtub, the thoughtful extra grooming items, and the very reasonable price for such quality. Honestly, one of our favorites during Japan!

Spacious room with a beautiful view of Kyoto's rooftops and mountains in the background. The option to rent bicycles directly at the hotel was a great convenience. Service in the restaurant was excellent, especially the fantastic Japanese breakfast. However, the lack of soya milk during breakfast was disappointing and a surprise given the hotel's high standards.

This stay was fantastic! The room was spacious enough for our family and included a cool kitchenette. We loved the quiet environment—despite the hotel's amenities. The free shuttle made exploring the local area a breeze, and we even felt like locals as we waved to kids walking to school nearby!

great room but could improve on amenities
The room I stayed in was spacious with a large soaking tub and a very comfortable mattress. The breakfast options were excellent, especially the Japanese dishes offered in the serene restaurant looking out onto a garden.
The amenities near the pool area were somewhat lacking.

I truly enjoyed the spacious layout of my room, which was beautifully decorated, blending Japanese and Western styles. The quiet atmosphere made it a perfect retreat, and the amenities were thoughtfully provided for a comfortable stay.
Breakfast options lacked variety for dietary restrictions.
